Our first Wild Boy was born in Zimbabwe and raised in South Africa, Ryan has quite the story to tell but the time for that is around the camp fire. Like all of us here at Wild Planet Safari he has a tremendous passion for guiding and has a wealth of knowledge to share with you. He is a bit of a bird nerd and can never be found without a pair of bins and a birdbook. His guiding career has taken him as far from home as Mozambique, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Botswana and Zambia. He has now settled in the country he enjoys the most, South Africa.

Benjamin is our newest apprentice and has proven to be a great addition to the Wild Planet Safari team. Growing up in rural Zimbabwe, together with our assistant Lungisani, he quickly became part of the family. He knows the bush well and his cooking skills on an open fire are sure to make you some tasty meals in our bush kitchen. Benjamin's favourite animal is the King of the Jungle the mighty Lion and he is always on the lookout for the local prides.

A man born with the Wildest Africa running through his veins, this is Lungisani! Coming from Zimbabwe Lungi has been key to the success of many of our tours, he prides himself in making your safari as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. He also has the best pair of eyes on two legs and can spot a leopard sleeping in a tree a mile away.

Chris loves the bush and has great knowledge and experience. He is born and raised in Harare, Zimbabwe, moved to South Africa in 2007. His guiding career has taken him though all of Southern Africa for the past 8 years, and he has many stories to keep you entertained. Chris is always ready to answer any question and share his passion. He is know as the gentle giant of Wild Planet Safari as he towers over the rest of us. His favourite animal is the leopard and he is an expert at spotting the spotted cats.
