Upon your arrival at Arusha Airport or after being picked up from your hotel in Arusha, you’ll meet your professional safari guide and driver who will accompany you throughout your journey. With your packed lunch in hand, set off on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, where your wildlife adventure begins. Enjoy a thrilling game drive through the park’s diverse landscapes, known for their iconic baobab trees and abundant wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for Tarangire’s famous elephant herds and other incredible animals as you enjoy your lunch in the heart of nature. Later in the afternoon, you’ll head to your lodge for dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay. Tarangire is celebrated not only for its dense elephant population but also for its cultural ties to the Maasai people and exceptional wildlife viewing—especially during the dry season when animals gather around the Tarangire River.
