Tsavo East National Park is a natural area of flat, dry plains, with thorny bushes and swampy marshland with the longest stretch of Lava Flow forming the best adventure feature Yatta Plateau. It forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust–red elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk, and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species.
Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya. It’s known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and hundreds of bird species. The western section is dominated by the vast Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season.
Tsavo West National Park covers an area of 9,065 square kilometers. The Nairobi-Mombasa highway and a railway divide it from the adjoining Tsavo East National Park. Tsavo West is a more popular destination of its magnificent scenery, Mzima Springs which is famous for its clear waters with a glimpse of crocodiles and hippos in an underground lookout, rich and varied wildlife/birdlife, Relax until 16:00 hrs time for the evening game drive. The Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary is nestled within surrounding hills that collectively form the Eastern Arc Range of Mountains inscribed by UNESCO as a biodiversity hotspot hosting varied endemic wildlife species and a myriad of unique flora.
