OKAVANGO DELTA - MOKORO DAY TRIP

Roy Safaris Botswana will pick you up from your place of accommodation. We will then proceed to the mokoro station where you will leave on a mokoro (dugout canoe) for a full day of viewing game, birds and some of Botswana’s most breath-taking scenery. Relax and explore the shallow water-ways in a traditional mokoro. This breathtaking adventure will take you up snaking river channels and through the long grasses or papyrus. It is ideally suited as transport in the Delta as it can move quietly through shallow water, being pushed by a Poler using a long pole. Your day will be spent with a guide gliding silently down waterways, an 1 hour game walk, as well as a picnic lunch. After lunch you may rest in a shady, beautiful setting to soak up the peace and serenity of the Okavango Delta. Also included in the rate for this trip are mokoro fees.
