Serval Wildlife Experience – Day Trip

The Serval Wildlife Experience begins in the morning with pick-up from your hotel or residence in Arusha. The drive to Serval Wildlife takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, with scenic views of rural landscapes and, on clear days, the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by Serval staff and introduced to the conservancy's layout and ethics. After a brief orientation, the guided wildlife interaction begins. The first experience usually starts with giraffe feeding. These gentle giants approach calmly and allow visitors to feed them, take photos, and even enjoy a close-up moment. A guide will explain their feeding habits, behavior, and conservation importance. Next, you’ll encounter other friendly animals like zebras, ostriches, elands, and camels. Each encounter is carefully managed to ensure the animals' well-being and guest safety. There’s time to ask questions, take amazing photos, and enjoy the serene beauty of the open conservancy. The visit also includes a walk-through of the area’s eco-conscious facilities, learning how Serval balances luxury tourism with environmental responsibility. Kids and adults alike enjoy this educational aspect, making it both fun and informative. Depending on your schedule and interests, you may choose to enjoy refreshments or lunch at the on-site restaurant (optional and at extra cost). The gardens and lounge areas offer a peaceful place to relax before heading back. By early or mid-afternoon, guests return to Arusha, completing a memorable and heartwarming wildlife experience that is both close to nature and deeply relaxing.
