Important Things to Know Before Your Safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro & Serengeti

Park Fees & Permits – All parks require entrance fees, which are included in your package.

Weather & Clothing – Mornings and evenings can be chilly, so pack layers. Comfortable safari clothing, a hat, and sunscreen are essential.

Game Drive Duration – Expect long drives (6–8 hours) with breaks. Ngorongoro has a time limit of about 6 hours inside the crater.

Wildlife Viewing – Animals move freely; sightings are not guaranteed, but these parks offer excellent chances to see the Big Five.

Road Conditions – Roads can be bumpy and dusty, especially in Serengeti, so be prepared for off-road adventure.

Accommodation & Meals – Lodges and camps provide full-board meals. Inform your operator of any dietary needs in advance.
