Pricing
While some companies may offer lower prices, at kiliholidays Tours and Safaris, your safety is our top priority. This commitment requires significant investments in staff and vehicle fleets. If you come across a significantly lower-priced safari, compromises are likely being made.
Moreover, we specialize in private safari tours. Although slightly pricier, this option offers numerous benefits. With your guide's consultation, you'll have control over aspects like departure times and focus areas during your game drive. Additionally, private tours provide more space in vehicles and enhanced viewing opportunities, ensuring an immersive experience.
Accommodation
Accommodation options are highly flexible, catering to various preferences and budgets. Whether you prefer mid-range, luxury, or a blend of both, we can tailor the quote accordingly. Feel free to suggest changes or upgrades, and we'll provide alternative options with pricing, ensuring your comfort and satisfaction.
Payment Terms & Cancellation Policy
To secure your booking, we require a 15% deposit, with the final balance due two weeks before departure or in cash at our Arusha office. Payment methods include bank transfer or credit/debit card (with a 3.9% surcharge). Our cancellation policy is as follows:
90 days and above: 20% of the tour cost
89 – 60 days: 30% of the tour cost
59 – 30 days: 40% of the tour cost
29 – 15 days: 70% of the tour cost
14 – 0 days: 100% of the tour cost
Please note that due to COVID-19 regulations in Tanzania, we're unable to offer flexibility with these terms.
Packing List
Luggage: Opt for a duffel bag or soft-sided bag for ease of carrying and packing. Ensure it's hardy, waterproof, and lockable. Valuables should be kept in a separate daypack.
Clothing: Pack for both hot days and cool nights, opting for layers. Choose mid-tone colors like olive, green, and khaki. Avoid bright or dark colors that may distract animals or attract insects. Respect local culture by avoiding revealing clothing.
Shoes: For most safaris, trainers and sports sandals suffice. Flip-flops are handy for showers.
Sun Protection: Essential items include sunglasses, a wide-brimmed hat, high-protection sun cream, and lip salve.
First Aid: Carry antiseptic ointment, painkillers, antihistamines, bandages, and any personal medications. Insect repellent and rehydration sachets are also recommended.
Photography & Electrical Equipment: Protect your camera with a sturdy bag and bring spare batteries and memory cards. Binoculars are essential for wildlife spotting. Adhere to photography etiquette, respecting local sensitivities.
Electrical Charging & Power Supply: Our safari vehicles have charging points. Bring suitable travel adapters, and note that accommodations typically use Type G plug sockets.
