3 Day Visiting Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater & Lake Manyara National Park

Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport, followed by a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most picturesque and wildlife-rich parks, famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab-dotted landscapes. Upon arrival, you will embark on an afternoon game drive through the park’s varied habitats, including river valleys, open savannahs, and seasonal swamps that attract a wide range of wildlife. Tarangire is particularly known for its high concentration of elephants, as well as lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, and numerous bird species. The Tarangire River acts as a vital water source, drawing animals throughout the year and providing excellent game viewing opportunities. A packed picnic lunch will be enjoyed inside the park, allowing uninterrupted wildlife observation. In the late afternoon, exit the park and transfer to Karatu for dinner and overnight stay at Octagon Lodge.
