What’s Included in the Safari Package
1. Park Fees (For Non-Residents): The cost of park entry fees is usually included for non-resident tourists visiting national parks. This can include fees for places like Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire.
2. All Activities (Unless Labeled as Optional): All planned activities, such as game drives, cultural experiences, or nature walks, are included unless specifically noted as optional. Optional activities might include things like hot air balloon rides, private tours, or other extra experiences that are not part of the standard itinerary.
3. All Accommodation (Unless Listed as Upgrade): The cost of accommodation during the safari is included. This will typically cover standard lodging or tented camps, but if you choose to upgrade to a higher-end lodge or tent, that upgrade will usually come at an additional cost.
4. A Professional Driver/Guide: A licensed, professional guide or driver will be with you throughout the safari. This guide is responsible for driving, providing information about wildlife, and ensuring safety during the tour.
5. All Transportation (Unless Labeled as Optional): All transportation related to the safari, including the 4x4 safari vehicle used for game drives and transfers between parks, is included. Any optional transportation, such as internal flights or extra transfers, may be at an additional cost.
6. All Flights During the Tour: If there are any flights included in the itinerary (for example, internal flights between parks), those will be covered in the package price. If flights are not included, they will typically be noted as extra or optional.
7. All Taxes/VAT: The cost of any applicable taxes, including value-added tax (VAT) or park taxes, is included in the price of the package. There will be no surprise additional fees for these items.
8. Roundtrip Airport Transfer: Transfers between the airport and your hotel or safari starting point are included, ensuring a smooth arrival and departure process.
9. Meals (As Specified in the Day-by-Day Section): Meals are usually included, and the specifics of which meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) will be provided are detailed in the day-by-day itinerary. Some tours may offer meals in the field as picnic lunches, or they may be served at lodges or camps.
10. Drinks (As Specified in the Day-by-Day Section): Drinks, such as water or soft drinks, may be included as per the itinerary. Alcoholic beverages or specialty drinks might not be included unless specifically mentioned in the itinerary or package details.

-Optional activities and upgrades: Always check the itinerary for optional add-ons and upgrades, as they might require additional fees.
-Additional costs: Personal expenses like souvenirs, tips for the guide, or items not mentioned in the day-by-day section may not be covered.

What’s Not Included in the Safari Package
1. International Flights (From/to Home): The cost of flights to and from your home country to the destination (Tanzania, in this case) is not included. You will need to arrange and pay for your international flights separately.
2. Additional Accommodation Before and at the End of the Tour: If you wish to stay extra nights before or after the scheduled tour, these accommodations are typically not included in the package. You will need to arrange and pay for any additional nights of stay independently.
3. Tips (Tipping Guideline US$10.00 pp per day): Tips for your driver/guide and other staff are generally not included. A common tipping guideline is US$10.00 per person, per day, but it’s important to clarify this with your operator as tipping customs may vary.
4. Personal Items (Souvenirs, Travel Insurance, Visa Fees, etc.): Any personal expenses such as souvenirs, snacks, or any additional purchases during your trip are not covered. Additionally, travel insurance and visa fees are your responsibility and are not part of the package price.
5. Government-Imposed Increase of Taxes and/or Park Fees: If there are any increases in government taxes or park fees after you’ve booked the tour, these are not included in the initial price. Any adjustments to fees imposed by the government would be charged separately to you.
