10 Day Cross Country Kenya & Tanzania Safari

On arrival in Kenya in the morning hours, you will be welcomed and picked at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and be transferred to Amboseli National Park. Amboseli may be smaller than many other Kenyan parks, but it packs a lot into a very small space. For starters, the views here are astonishing because Africa's highest mountain, Mt Kilimanjaro (5895m), looms over the park to the south. Best of all, the mountain provides a backdrop to many fantastic wildlife sightings that almost always include elephants with big tusks, as well as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, wildebeests and gazelles. Birders can also look for the park's 420 different recorded species.
