Your adventure begins early in the morning with a warm pick-up from your hotel in Arusha by your professional, English-speaking driver-guide. You will embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, a spectacular wildlife haven famous for its enormous elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse birdlife. Upon arrival, you will begin an exciting game drive through the park, exploring the vast savannah and spotting some of Africa’s iconic wildlife. Keep your camera ready as you may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and numerous colorful bird species flitting between the trees. Your guide will share insightful information about the animals, their behavior, and the park’s unique ecosystem. Around midday, you will enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the breathtaking landscape of Tarangire, surrounded by the sounds of nature and the sights of roaming wildlife. After your lunch, continue with the game drive to maximize your chances of spotting elusive predators and herds. In the late afternoon, you will leave the park and drive to the Karatu area, a charming town at the edge of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Here you will check into Eileen’s Trees Inn, a comfortable lodge nestled among lush gardens and offering panoramic views of the surrounding hills.
