You will be picked up from Ndutu Airstrip and transferred to the Ndutu region in southern Serengeti. Enjoy a full-day game drive through the heart of the wildebeest migration, witnessing the incredible spectacle of vast herds of wildebeest and zebras roaming the plains. During lunch, your driver will set up a beautiful picnic with a hot meal, including soup, bread rolls, a main dish, and a refreshing fruit salad, accompanied by a glass of wine or tea/coffee. In the late afternoon, we return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay. Discover a diverse range of habitats, including swamps, woodlands, soda lakes, and the iconic Serengeti short grass plains. During the brief calving season in February, lasting about three weeks, the plains come alive with the birth of thousands of wildebeest calves. The open grasslands offer little protection, making the newborns vulnerable to predators.
