5-Day Kenya Safari- Maasai Mara & Lake Naivasha

Your safari begins after breakfast as we leave the busy streets of Nairobi behind and make our way towards the legendary Maasai Mara. The journey itself is part of the experience. As we climb down into the Great Rift Valley, the scenery opens up dramatically, with wide views across the escarpment and the countryside stretching into the distance. We will have time for a short stop along the way to enjoy the views and take a few photographs before continuing towards Narok and then the Mara. The Maasai Mara is one of Africa's most famous wildlife areas for good reason. Its endless grasslands provide an incredible setting for wildlife, and even on your first afternoon, there is always the feeling that something exciting could appear around the next bend. We arrive at Sentrim Maasai Mara in the afternoon and settle into camp. Depending on our arrival time, we can head out for our first game drive. The late afternoon is a particularly beautiful time in the Mara, when the light becomes softer and wildlife begins to become more active. As the sun sets over the savannah, we return to camp for dinner and our first night in the heart of Maasai country.
