6-Day Mt. Kilimanjaro Trekking Marangu Route

After breakfast, a drive from the hotel in Moshi/Arusha to the gate, check in at the reception office on arrival at the National Park gate (1897m). After the registration and acquiring the permit, the hike starts to Mandara huts (2720m) through the rain forest for a 3-hour trek, 8 km long. It is compulsory to have your rain jacket and trousers handy. Lunch boxes and drinking water is provided at the beginning of the expedition. Sapper and dinner are served at the dining mess in the camp. Attractions found during the climbing Fauna and Flora include a botanical as well as plants (trees like podocarps (cypress), erica, impaciet kilimanjari and others and animals include blue monkey, black and white colobus monkey, tree hyrax, birds turaco, silver chicked horn bill, white necked raven, etc.
