This 7Days Great Apes safari takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Kibale Forest National Park with a day de-tour to Queen Elizabeth National Park added in. You trek to see chimpanzees and Mountain Gorillas. On the two treks, you get up close and personal with both the chimpanzees and the Mountain Gorillas. You begin this Great Apes safari when you travel to Kibale Forest National Park – ‘the so-called primate capital of East Africa’ where you go in search for man’s closest relatives – the chimpanzees. From Kibale, you spend a day at Queen Elizabeth National Park before driving continung to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for your date with the Mountain Gorillas. From Bwindi, you make a de-tour to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi. You then complete your Uganda nature adventure with the drive to Entebbe for your onward flight home.
