Arrive in Samburu in time for lunch at Samburu Sopa Lodge, set on elevated ground with sweeping views of the rugged semi-arid terrain. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in Samburu National Reserve, a unique ecosystem known for rare wildlife species such as the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk. The Ewaso Nyiro River attracts a high concentration of wildlife, making game viewing rewarding and dynamic. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
