Etosha 3D 2N Entry & Exit Points ?

Hi fellow travelers, My wife and I will be visiting Etosha National park as part of our Namibia Road Trip. We are staying in Opuwo the night before and Windhoek the night after. In Etosha we have booked the Etosha Trading Post Campsite at Anderson Gate on Day 1 and Onguma Tamboti Campsite at Namutoni Gate on Day 2. We plan to leave Opuwo at 6 AM. My question is should we enter through Galton Gate (2 hours from Opuwo) and drive to Anderson gate on Day 1 ? Or is the road condition very bad and distance too long ? We have a 4x4 Jimny. The other option is to drive on the outer road directly to Anderson Gate(4.5 hours) from Opuwo and enter from there and visit the waterholes in that area ? The second day we plan to drive across from Anderson gate to Namutoni gate. I know it's short of time but it's the only time we have. You advice would be helpful. Any suggestions to make the most of the time we have is also helpful. Thank you
