Is gorilla trekking in Uganda for $900 worth it?

Going on a month long safari soon, one of the add ons is a $875 USD permit to hike to spend 1 hour with gorillas. I don’t really care for hiking through forests (especially in a group), so it’d only be to see the gorilla family and take photos. I know they aren’t like the zoo, but was $900/hr worth it to see them in the wild for you?
