1-Day Experience Tarangire National Park

We’ll pick you up from your hotel at 7:00 AM, where you’ll meet your guide before setting off on the approximately 1 hour and 45-minute drive to Tarangire. Upon arrival, your game drive will begin, with routes planned according to the latest wildlife activity. Special attention will be given to areas frequented by predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. You’ll also have ample opportunities to spot a variety of herbivores, including giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, and more. Around midday, you’ll stop at the Tarangire River picnic site for lunch. This scenic spot overlooks the river and expansive plains. Keep an eye out for playful monkeys and baboons they might try to sneak a bite of your meal, adding a touch of amusement to your break. After lunch, your afternoon game drive continues, allowing you to soak up as much wildlife viewing as possible before departing the park around 4:30 PM. From there, it’s a comfortable drive back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport.
