After breakfast, you will drive from Arusha (7:15 am) to Serengeti which takes 8 hours (including all stops) as it transits through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Visit a Maasai village (optional) and explore the culture of the great Maasai tribe known for chasing lions off their kill. To be considered a warrior, they had to hunt lions and drink animal blood. Fortunately, these traditions are a thing of the past. With the exception of drinking blood, you can surely learn something from this tour. Arrive at Serengeti National Park in the late afternoon and do a game drive in the Seronera area (center of Serengeti). Experience the sunset in the Serengeti while having a close view of wild animals. If you are lucky, you may spot a predator hunting or on a kill. Later, head to the Nyani campsite. Note: You can also view animals from the camp, mostly hyenas. There is close protection from active rangers, so no need to worry.
