The adventure begins in Arusha, where you will be picked up by your driver–guide and drive to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse landscapes, Tarangire offers excellent opportunities to see lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and over 400 species of birds. You will enjoy a full day of game viewing and spend the night at a lodge near Tarangire or in Karatu depending on the itinerary.
Day 2 and Day 3 are spent in the Serengeti National Park, known for its endless plains and incredible wildlife. Guests will enjoy two full days of game drives with chances to see the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino) as well as cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and many antelope species. Depending on the season, visitors may witness part of the famous Great Migration. Overnight stays will be in lodges or tented camps inside or near the Serengeti.
