Safari Terms & Conditions by Kichereko Safaris
Welcome to Kichereko Safaris! We are delighted to have you embark on an unforgettable safari adventure with us. Before proceeding, please take a moment to review our terms and conditions outlined below.
1. Booking Confirmation:
a. To secure your reservation, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
b. The remaining balance must be settled prior to the safari departure date, as specified in the booking confirmation.
2. Safari Itinerary:
a. Kichereko Safaris will provide a detailed safari itinerary, outlining the planned activities, accommodations, and transportation arrangements.
b. While we strive to adhere to the proposed itinerary, unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions or wildlife behavior may require adjustments. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding in such cases.
3. Travel Documents:
a. It is the responsibility of each traveler to ensure they possess valid passports, visas, and any other necessary travel documents required for entry into the safari destination(s).
b. Kichereko Safaris cannot be held liable for any costs or consequences resulting from the failure to comply with immigration requirements.
4. Health and Safety:
a. Travelers should consult with their healthcare providers regarding recommended vaccinations and health precautions for the safari destination(s).
b. Kichereko Safaris strongly recommends obtaining comprehensive travel insurance to cover any medical emergencies, trip cancellations, or lost belongings.
5. Safari Conduct:
a. All participants are expected to adhere to local laws, customs, and regulations throughout the safari experience.
b. Any behavior that compromises the safety, comfort, or enjoyment of fellow travelers or the local environment will not be tolerated.
6. Wildlife Encounters:
a. While Kichereko Safaris endeavors to provide opportunities for wildlife sightings, we cannot guarantee the presence or behavior of any specific animal.
b. Participants must follow the instructions of safari guides and prioritize the safety and well-being of themselves, fellow travelers, and wildlife.
7. Cancellations and Refunds:
a. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Kichereko Safaris.
b. The refund policy is as follows:
- Cancellations made 60 days or more prior to the safari start date: Deposit is forfeited.
- Cancellations made between 30 and 59 days prior to the safari start date: 50% refund of the total safari cost.
- Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the safari start date: No refund.
8. Limitation of Liability:
a. Kichereko Safaris shall not be held responsible for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused during the safari, including but not limited to acts of nature, accidents, illness, or mechanical failures.
b. Participants are advised to secure personal insurance coverage for any losses or expenses incurred.
