5 Day Great Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire & Lake Manyara

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your accommodation in Arusha or from the airport, and head straight to Tarangire National Park in the Manyara Region. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses the park. Ranking as the 6th largest national park in Tanzania and covering an area of 2,600 square kilometers, it is most popular for its large elephant herds and is usually very dry, in fact, drier than the Serengeti. However, its vegetation is much greener with lots of grass, vast areas with mixed acacia woodlands and some of the wonderful ribbons of the aquatic forest. Also, do not forget about the giant baobab trees that can live up to 600 years, storing between 300 and 900 liters of water. In the afternoon you will break for lunch. After lunch, the game drive continues until you start driving to your lodge. It is now time to relax, dine, swim and relive the memories you collected during the day.
