In the morning, your safari guide will pick you up from your Arusha accommodation. The drive on a well-maintained tarmac road crosses the scenic Maasai plains, dotted with acacia trees. Along the way, you'll observe Maasai people in vibrant attire walking, cycling, herding cattle, and driving donkey carts. Tarangire is renowned for its vast elephant herds. From the open-roof vehicle, take in the seasonal swamps, savannahs, and the Tarangire River. You'll explore the diverse wildlife, including zebras, wildebeest, buffalos, elephants, and giraffes.
