6 Days Best of Kenya Simba Safari: Samburu National Reserve - Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara National Reserve

On arrival at JKIA airport and after clearing with the customs desk, you will be met by the company representative and the driver guide. After the meet and greet you are briefed about your safari then depart for a drive to Samburu National Reserve. The drive takes you through the Thika Super highway with a scenic view of the pineapple countryside. On the way you take a brief stop along the equator line. The Equator is known for Coriolis demonstration by the locals. After lunch, there is little time to settle in or have a quick nap before you set off on the first game drive. Surrounded by interestingly shaped hills, you will fall in love with this region. Your afternoon drive will usually have you back in the lodge by sun down, but it all depends on what enthralling sightings you come across. Look out for the Samburu special five, which include the Beisa oryx, the Reticulated giraffe, the Gerenuk, Samburu ostrich, and the Grevy’s zebra, as well as the big cats, and everything else in between.
