At the southern part of the mountain, this route is on the right, with the most scenic vegetation zones offering a variety of habitats. Regarded as the “Whisky route” due to its challenges from the beginning, the trail is steep. It has many ups and downs, crossing ridges and valleys, making acclimatisation on the way more likely and yielding more summit success. Duration is 6/7 days, the round trip is 65km.
