Windhoek is the capital city of Namibia situated in the valley and surrounded by mountains, Erose mountain on the East with a height of 1890m, Aus Mountain to the south with a height of 2479m making it the second-highest mountain in the Country from the Brandberg mountain. Khomas Hochland to the west with a height of 2000m.
Windhoek's altitude is between 1600m and 1750m above sea level.
