This full-day tour takes you from Nairobi into the scenic savannahs of southern Kenya, with early morning pickup from your hotel. As we drive toward Amboseli National Park near the Tanzania border, enjoy views of rural landscapes, traditional homesteads, and the rising African sun.
Upon arrival, we begin our game drive across Amboseli’s open plains. The park is famous for its large herds of elephants, easily seen against the vast landscapes. You'll also spot lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, ostriches, and more. For bird lovers, Amboseli is home to over 400 bird species, including flamingoes and pelicans.
Throughout the day, Mount Kilimanjaro provides a stunning backdrop—its snow-capped peak rising over the horizon. We’ll stop at Observation Hill, a rare walking spot in the park, offering panoramic views of the swamps and surrounding wildlife below.
After a morning of wildlife viewing, we pause for lunch at a local lodge or picnic site before continuing the afternoon game drive through a different section of the park.
To end the day, we visit a nearby Maasai village for an authentic cultural experience. A village elder will welcome you, followed by traditional dances, fire-making demonstrations, and a tour of their homes and livestock areas. You’ll learn about Maasai traditions, daily life, and pastoral customs in a personal and respectful setting.
As the sun sets, we begin our return to Nairobi, arriving in the evening.
