In the late afternoon, continue to a Hamer village, where you will be introduced to one of the most renowned communities of the Omo Valley. The Hamer people are admired for their warm hospitality and distinctive cultural traditions. Their women are especially recognized for their elaborately braided hairstyles, adorned with ochre and butter, as well as their striking beadwork and jewelry. Each detail of their adornment reflects age, marital status, social standing, and personal pride.
