What are your 2 favorite/dream camps for a Jan trip?

Based on your love for wildlife diversity and private concessions, I recommend two amazing Kenyan camps for January: 1. **Lupa Safari Camp in the Maasai Mara**: Experience the Great Migration! Enjoy incredible wildlife viewing in a peaceful, private setting. 2. **The Ungawina Tented Camp in Amboseli**: Witness stunning Mount Kilimanjaro views while blending wildlife exploration with rich Maasai culture. Both offer unforgettable African adventures!

What are your 2 favorite/dream camps for a Jan trip?

We are contemplating a 12 day trip to Kenya in January. Excluding overseas travel days and time in Nairobi with friends, that gives us about 7 days to enjoy 2 amazing camps with our college aged sons. We explored four countries in Southern Africa last year and fell in love with the safari experience, particular because we were fortunate enough to stay mostly in private concessions where we could enjoy quiet time observing the animals without 15 other jeeps next to us. We are totally open to where we should stay / what part of Kenya we should visit. Incredible experiences (seeing diversity of wildlife, learning about local culture, and enjoying unique experiences (such as a camel or horseback outing) are important to us (importance in that order). We admittedly do want comfort (though not necessarily luxury for the sake of a big brand name; in our experience, there is a difference). All input appreciated!!
