This will be our first time in Kenya. We have had two safaris in Tanzania, and we are hoping we are in as much awe in Kenya. We plan to spend two nights in Nairobi before we start the safari. The many parks have me confused. We would like to spend 8 nights on safari making a total of 10 nights. We do want to spend at least 2 nights in the Massai Mara. We would like to spend 2 nights at 3 other camps where the driving is kept to a minimum between camps. We are at an age where long drives can be difficult - especially for my husband's bad back. From what I have read, Lake Naivisha does not interest us. Neither does hiking, biking, boat and balloon rides. We are there for the wildlife. If there was a cultural experience that would be nice. I have gotten a couple quotes from a safari operator in Nairobi, but your experiences would be very helpful. Thank you! Random questions - Does one really see much wildlife come to the water hole by the Ark hotel? Is November a poor choice of time? Too hot? Too rainy?
